Less Haste, More Peace! Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, here you can enjoy peace and quiet and have time for yourself and your life. A ride on the quiet electric ferry across Lake Fuschl, a hike across the mountain pastures of the Postalm, a visit to an old church. Body and soul in unison. Fuschl am See - The village of Fuschl am See is home to 1200 people and consciously upholds its village structure. Numerous clubs and associations play an important role in the lives of the people who live here and hospitality is an integral part of the culture! Look forward to meeting friendly, forthright people who care about your holiday.
The lake promenade, the sailing school, the castle above the lake, the chapter hall of the monastery, so much to experience. Enjoy the traditional hotels and restaurants located by the lake.

In the monastery museum, valuable exhibits to do with the history of civilization await you. After the turmoil of the 2nd World War the Hungarian Crown Jewels were safely stored in Mattsee. Wine lovers get their moneys' worth in the historical wine cellar of the monastery. The Seenland boat trip is one of the special experiences for a visitor in the Salzburg Seenland. The boat, built according to building plans of recent times in Mattsee, glides over the shallow water and moves effortlessly over Lake Mattsee to the neighbouring Lake Obertrum. The redesigned bathing resort and a large water slide make Mattsee a most family friendly holiday resort.
Strobl is situated on the east shore of Lake Abersee, which is the old name for this part of Lake Wolfgangsee. The name goes back to the iron merchant family Strobl, of whom the village´s coat of arms reminds us. The name Strobl meaning "unkempt man" was very common in southern Germany.

From late medieval times to the 17th century Strobl was a centre of pilgrimage. When the nearby town of Bad Ischl became famous with the Habsburg family, Strobl gained importance too. At the turn of the century it had already become a well-known holiday resort with modern facilities. With its wide, flat lake shore and natural beaches Strobl is one of the most famous holiday resorts in the Salzkammergut region, featuring almost all kinds of sports and leisure facilites.
Surrounded by imposing mountains in the heart of the Salzburg Alps lie the beautiful village of Maria Alm and its two communities of Hintermoos and Hinterthal. To the north are the spectacular limestone mountains of the “Steinernes Meer”, to the south are the more gentle, undulating "Grasberge".
